Where Do I Start?
Starting can feel like the hardest part, but it does not have to be complicated. This series allows you to start anywhere based on its vast content. However, if not sure start with the basics.

- This series will provide you with know about various types and versions of the Bible but for now simple utilize the default American King James Version (AKJV) Bible.

Step 1a: Start With the Basics (New to the Bible)
If you are new to the Bible, begin with the foundational lessons that will give you a clear and simple starting point:
- Start at the beginning
- What the Bible is
- How the Bible is structured
- Who God is
These core lessons will help you build your understanding from the ground up and remove confusion as you move forward.
Step 1b: Familiar With the Bible but Need Deeper Knowledge (Intermediate Level)
If you are somewhat familiar with the Bible but want a stronger understanding, focus on developing clarity and connection:
- Learn how to study and interpret Scripture correctly
- Understand key themes and how different books connect
- Explore the life and teachings of Jesus more deeply
- Begin applying biblical principles to real-life situations
This level helps you move from basic familiarity to confident understanding.
Step 1c: Knowledgeable About the Bible and Seeking More (Advanced Level)
If you already have a strong foundation, this level is designed to deepen your insight and strengthen your ability to teach and lead:
- Study individual books of the Bible in depth (who, why, and to whom)
- Explore historical context and cultural background
- Practice cross-referencing and advanced study methods
- Develop the ability to teach, disciple, and share the Word effectively
This level moves you from understanding to mastery, application, and leadership.
Step 2: Focus on Understanding, Not Speed
Do not rush. Take time to:
- Read the lesson
- Reflect on the meaning
- Think about how it applies to your life
Growth happens through understanding, not speed.
Step 3: Be Consistent
Even if it is just a few minutes a day, consistency matters more than long study sessions.
Step 4: Ask Questions
Do not be afraid to question what you do not understand. Growth comes from curiosity and seeking clarity.
Step 5: Apply What You Learn
The goal is not just knowledge. The goal is transformation.
Ask yourself:
- How does this apply to my life?
- What changes should I make?
- How can I live this out today?
Step 6: Use the Reflection Questions and Journal
Each topic includes a reflection question or two and journal to help reinforce what you have learned. Use it to review and strengthen your understanding.

You were not meant to stay confused about the Bible. You were meant to understand it, live it, and grow through it.
You do not have to know everything to begin.
